new single release
The first single from my upcoming album, Echoes of Grace, is being released today! Lux Aeterna Domine is an especially poignant piece to me as it was the last piece my husband and high school sweetheart of 54 years heard of my compositions. The ethereal and heavenly setting of this a cappella piece is quite moving in tandem with its lyrics:
Lux aeterna luceat eis, Domine,
cum sanctis tuis in aeternum, quia pius es.
Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,
et lux perpetua luceat eis, quia pius es.
May eternal light shine on them, Lord,
with your saints for ever, for you are good.
Give them eternal rest, Lord,
and may light perpetual shine upon them, for you are good
